| What you want | What to book | 60 min | 90 min | How to book |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The stones as the center of the session | Hot stone massage | $90 | $125 | Online |

| Stones and hot towels on a first visit | First-visit special: massage with hot stone & hot towel | $79 | $109 | By phone |
| Stones on every visit at member rates | Member Signature Massage, hot stone add-on included | $72 | $105 | By phone |
| Essential oils and a back scrub as well | Aromatherapy + hot stone + back scrub | $109 | $149 | By phone |
Which is best: the hot stone massage or the $10 add-on?
Choose by what should lead the hour, since at 60 minutes both cost $90. The hot stone massage is built around the heat; the add-on keeps the long strokes of a Swedish massage or the firm pressure of deep tissue, with stones and hot towels on top.
In the full session the therapist uses the heated stones as an extension of the hands and places them on parts of the body. The warmth may help you relax, and the massage eases muscle tension.

What should I tell my therapist before a hot stone massage?
Tell your therapist which areas you want the stones on, and say if heat usually bothers you.
For example, the back and shoulders, the legs, or everywhere, plus any spot to leave alone. If a stone feels too hot at any point, say so straight away; nobody should lie still through heat that stings.

Who should check with a doctor before a hot stone massage?
Check with a doctor before a hot stone massage in any of these cases:
- Pregnancy: ask your obstetrician or midwife first, then book the prenatal massage.
- Numbness or reduced feeling in the skin: numb skin may not register a stone that is too hot, so ask your doctor before booking and tell your therapist on the day.
- Recent surgery: wait for your surgeon's approval.
- New, sharp or worsening pain, or a history of blood clots: see a doctor first.
- A skin condition or broken skin where the stones would sit.
Hot stones here are for relaxing and easing muscle tension, and they are not used to diagnose or treat any condition.
